Mohamad OMRAN : né à Damas en 1979, vit en France.Diplômé de la Faculté des beaux-arts de Damas, Mohamad Omran commence une carrière de sculpteur immédiatement acclamée sur la scène artistique locale. En 2007, il quitte la Syrie pour entreprendre un master en histoire de l’art à l’Université Lyon II. Le début 2011 marque un tournant dans son travail artistique. Ses œuvres sur papiers et ses sculptures sont vite remarquées et Mohamad Omran multiplie les expositions individuelles ou collectives : atelier La Façon à Lyon, Galerie Europia et Institut des Cultures d’Islam à Paris, La maison des arts à Malakoff, Le Rocher de Palmer à Bordeaux, Forum Factory à Berlin, Art on 56th à Beyrouth, Round Tower à Copenhague, Halles de Schaerbeek à Bruxelles. Son travail fait partie de nombreuses collections privées et publiques notamment le British Museum, musée de l’IMA à Paris, et la Fondation Atassi à Dubaï.

Mohamad OMRAN: Born in Damascus in 1979, lives in France. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus , He began a career as a sculptor that was immediately acclaimed on the local art scene. In 2007, he left Syria to undertake a master's degree in art history at the University of Lyon II. The beginning of 2011 marks a turning point in his artistic work. His drawing and his sculptures were quickly noticed and he multiplied individual or collective exhibitions: Europia Gallery and Institut des Cultures d'Islam in Paris, La maison des arts in Malakoff, Forum Factory in Berlin, Round Tower in Copenhagen, Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels,Colegio de San Ildefonso museum, Mexico City, shelter art space in Alexandria, egypt Gallery,Almarkhia galerie a doha  and Art on 56th in Beirut . His work is part of many private and public collections including the British Museum, IMA museum in Paris,The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman, Jordan, Syrian Ministry of Culture and the Atassi Foundation in Dubai.
